What is the best way to clean a hat (cap)?
My BF has had DIRTEST LA. It's all sweaty appearance, smell and looks dirty. Not going to get A new because he likes the damn thing a lot. How can I get clean without ruining the shape of the bill of the hat? Any suggestions that work! thank you very much.
A lot of people put in the top rack of the dishwasher, but I do not dare to wash a dirty, sweaty, baseball cap the same place I'm going to wash my dishes later, so I throw in the washer, usually with a load of jeans. Pre-treatment with a shout or Spray n Wash if it is real dirty. Out of the washing machine can reshape the bill easily, if necessary. I hang it on the clothing line or a hook on the bathroom door to dry. Very simple!
