should lidstrom of the red wings be considered for nhl mvp?
He leads the league in plus/minus and all defensemen in points and assists. The red wings cannot lose with him in the lineup and they can’t win with him out of it. You could argue he could have won it any of the past 6 years and I’m sure this year won’t be any different, but why don’t defensemen get any respect in the nhl?
He should be considered, but I dont think he will win it. And rightfully so. He is truly among the elite, yet this year I think a few others have done a little more to deserve it.
